Lenovo, the University of Paderborn, and partner pro-com DATENSYSTEME are building a new HPC cluster
Lenovo announces the contract signing for the joint construction of a new High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster with the University of Paderborn. The integration of the new system will be carried out by the HPC partner pro-com DATENSYSTEME. The installation is scheduled to take place in the second half of the year and is expected to have a runtime of at least 5 years. From 2025, a significant portion of the computing system will be made available for nationwide research as part of the National High-Performance Computing (NHR), supporting, among other things, the research focus on 'Atomic Simulation.'
