Red Hat OpenShift 4.22 adds EVPN to integrate production networks across Kubernetes cluster boundaries.
Red Hat OpenShift Networking now supports EVPN in OpenShift 4.22.
The capability lets organizations integrate Kubernetes platforms directly with the data center networks they already operate.
It does so by adopting the same standards-based networking used throughout modern network fabrics. Using established fabric standards avoids maintaining a separate overlay model for container traffic.
